I’ve recently realised the vastness of the Sahara Desert. One simply cannot grasp its magnitude until seeing it from an aerial perspective.
This made me think about the grandeur and “size” of things in our lives that we take for granted every day. The largess of the desert is one example of how things exist simultaneously along side us without requiring our permission, our interference or our need.
We’ve all been told at some point in our lives to be the bigger person, to stand tall in the face of adversity and in blessing…. but no one ever really gets down to the spiritual crux of the matter. So here it is:
The size of your spirit cannot be imagined by a small mind. In fact, it is so “large” that you yourself cannot imagine it fully. So be larger than you are. Don’t just reach for the stars when you live in a galaxy! Think larger than you are. Think on the scale of creation… As Hafiz, poet, sage and brilliant spirit, said “I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being!”
You were never meant to be a dim, small presence. Think universally. Think spiritually. Think Love. Think big.
Good job. Thank you
