Hey fellow Vancouverites,
What’s up with you young fools who think it’s okay to sit in the special areas on the bus which are clearly designated for seniors and people with mobility issues and not get up when they are demonstrably in need?
Just because you have a long commute, it’s no excuse to get on the bus, sit in the designated area and pay so much attention to what’s on your phone, that you completely ignore the requests to move. Or you intentionally ignore the elder people who are forced to stand. Or ignore the people with clear and painful mobility issues who are forced to wait for 30 minutes because you can’t allow him/her to get on the bus ahead of you (after waiting in the same line as you for the bus.) Shame on you! Especially you idiots who ride the 49 Metrotown bus and get on at Main and 49th.
Get off your ass!
And those of you who wait at one bus stop just to get off at the next stop, move your ass! Every time you do that, you delay one of us who is trying very hard, on our very long commute, to catch our connecting bus home. Try walking the 10 minutes and see what happens.
Gosh people have become lazy! Enough already!
And to the people who think it’s okay to use profanity and the word “like” for every other word, it’s really not. It’s not. It’s not. No wonder people don’t want to learn English when they hear rubbish like that. Get it together people!!
I wish those of you who spend so much time gaming while you are commuting could spend that time learning something (like manners) so that when you are asked to move, you’re not offended at the person making the request. Better yet, you’d get up and offer the seat like you’re supposed to do anyway!
Go learn something. Quit the vaping. Quit the MJ. Do something nice for once. Kindness is its own reward. =)
